About

Hi all! I’m Belle, and I am a simple young woman living in New York City. This blog is about all things skincare, beauty, hair care and makeup. I became obsessed with these things as a teenager when I developed horrible acne on my forehead. As I grew older I learned how to manage my skin and my hair to keep them both looking healthy.

My goal with this blog is to share what has worked for me, what hasn’t and why, as well as tips and tricks I have learned through the years. I also want to be able to provide my personal and honest feedback on products that I have used.

Now, a little more about me! I have lots of fine hair, which curls very easily. I spend tons of time straightening it; however I do embrace my curls, especially during the hot summer NYC months. I have an olive skin complexion and lately my skin has been incredibly dry. I tend to break out mostly during “that time of the month”. Hopefully this can give you an idea of what I am working with and why I choose to try certain products.

It has taken me a long time to start this blog. I have always been very self conscious of the way I look and how I appear to others. Many of my friends and family members have been pushing me to start this because they see the passion I have for skincare, beauty, makeup and haircare.

With that being said, I want to thank my friends and family who have supported me and pushed me towards getting this started. You guys have given me courage and confidence, and without you all I don’t know if I could have even attempted this. There is a specific group of people, and you know who you are, who I want to give an extra big thank you for your support, and I hope to post a collaborative blog with one of you soon 😉

The most important thing I want to share on this space, is positivity. We are all beautiful, and unique, and we should always embrace ourselves as we are.

Please note that any reviews are based on MY opinions only. I am not a dermatologist by any means, so these opinions are based on MY experiences. 🙂
