Hi beauties! I just got back from my cousin’s wedding in Mexico and it was beautiful and amazing and just filled with love! I had the honor to work with their good friend Maddie (who is amazing) as the official MUAs for the grooms-maids. Maddie and I worked HARD and LONG to make sure the ladies looked good and I must say I think we did an amazing job! I wish I would have taken more pictures but we were truly living in the moment and taking everything in. I did manage to take the little snippet below of my beautiful grooms-maid/cousin posing with her brothers and brother in law. By the way, the grooms are in the center, for anyone who was wondering. The grooms decided that they did not want their ladies to wear too much makeup so we did a bronzy eye with a red lip which went great with their bronzed skin!
As for me; I ended up doing something similar for myself, but different of course. I added a lot more highlighter for myself and used a lippie with an orangie undertone and made my eyes much less bronzy.
To get the look above I used the below:
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer in Granite
- Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask to prime
- Hourglass Vanish Stick Foundation in Sand
- Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector in Medium to Deep
- Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in Neutralizer
- Maybelline Matte & Poreless Powder (to set the foundation)
- Marc Jacobs O!Mega Bronzer in Perfect Tan
- Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso
- Anastasia Beverly Hills x Amrezy Highlighter (I used this on my body too)
KKW Beauty x Mario Palette- I used the shade ‘decade’ to set the lid. Then I went in with the shade ‘miami’ in the crease and outer corner. To deepen the eyes, I used ‘loyalty’– but only on the outer corners. I wanted to add some pizzaz, so I went in with my finger, and added the shade ‘armenian’ on the lid. Finally in the inner corners I used the shade ‘2008’. I repeated the same steps for the under eye with a small brush– keeping it very close to the water line.
I created a wing liner using the NYX cosmetics matte, gel liner in black. The final thing I did with the eyes was add on some ardell false lashes. To blend my lashes in with the falsies I used the Monsieur Big mascara by Lancome.
Lips: I used the Pat McGrath Labs MatteTrance Lipstick in Obsessed!
When everything was finished I used the Milani Make it Last setting spray to set my face.
Even though I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do for the wedding I knew I wanted to glow and look all golden– I’m not sure if I achieved it but I totally had fun doing my makeup and I hope you enjoyed this post! Until next time lovelies! ♥♥
